ITM announces the addition of Ed Usalis to its Business Valuations team, further strengthening the firm’s expertise in delivering independent, defensible valuations for privately held businesses and complex assets.

Mr. Usalis brings more than twenty-five years of experience providing business valuation and financial advisory services. Throughout his career, he has prepared valuations for a wide range of purposes, including federal gift and estate tax reporting, estate planning, employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), financial reporting, and mergers and acquisitions.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Usalis has completed valuations across a broad range of industries, developing particular expertise in the valuation of real estate holding companies and operating companies. His work includes building financial models, performing financial statement analysis, conducting economic and industry research, and producing detailed reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

Mr. Usalis holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from the Heider College of Business at Creighton University, as well as both a Master of Arts and a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University.
He also holds multiple respected valuation credentials, including Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, Accredited Member (AM) of the American Society of Appraisers, and Business Certified Appraiser (BCA) from the International Society of Business Appraisers.
In addition to his professional practice, Mr. Usalis frequently speaks and writes on valuation-related issues and has testified in numerous legal matters involving business valuation.
